Circlets and Coronets

I have plain circlets in stock in various sizes:

• 1/2 round sterling silver, 1/4 inch wide: $50
• 1/2 round gold-filled, 1/4 inch wide: $55
• low-dome Argentium Sterling (highly tarnish-resistant), 5/16 inch wide: $75

Please indicate your head measurement to the nearest 1/2 inch. Measure horizontally around your head at forehead level, where you think it would be most comfortable for a circlet to sit. Most adults have head measurements between 21 and 24 inches.

The showiest coronet I have yet built is this one, done for Finella Harper in 2005/2006.

The metal is sterling, with freshwater pearls in channels at the top and bottom, a background of fused filigree. The gemstones are lapis lazuli, amber, and garnets. The points are also the ends of the hinge pins, and these are cast in the shape of jesters' heads with pearls dangling from the hat points.
